The Delusioneers.

Following the boring things to the truth
and making it impossible to look away from.

The Delusioneers is a documentation practice that builds ready-to-use public-interest research packages — clear, sourced, and structured so they can move without us.

We write for the people who actually use this material: journalists, staffers, and engaged citizens. That means leading with the finding, grounding everything in named sources, and laying out timelines and comparisons that make the story legible at a glance.

The work is intentionally plain. If it feels a little dry, it's probably close to something that matters.

We don't optimize for credit. The goal is simple: someone else can pick it up, verify it, and use it.

Tips. Ideas. Leads. If you have a document, a thread worth pulling, or a story that isn't getting coverage — send it. We read everything. We don't need credit and we don't share sources.
